Arewa Youths Tackle Prof Yusuf over Attacks on Tinubu

Spread the love

The Arewa Youth Consciousness League (AYCL) has strongly condemned the recent series of attacks on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu by Professor Usman Yusuf.

In a statement issued by AYCL coordinator Sale Dambazau, Yusuf’s actions were characterized as those of a confused and frustrated individual seeking relevance through baseless criticism.

The Coordinator labeled Yusuf as a frustrated and desperate non-entity, who is seeking relevance through his misguided and baseless criticisms.

According to AYCL, “Yusuf is a disgruntled figure who has resorted to targeting President Tinubu and his administration in a desperate attempt to gain attention.

Dambazau pointed out that Yusuf’s criticisms lack substance and are fueled by personal vendettas rather than genuine concerns for the welfare of the nation.

The AYCL highlighted Yusuf’s questionable affiliations and criticized him for aligning himself with and working for the opposition Peoples Democratic Party. The organization also accused Yusuf of making reckless statements in support of criminal activities, such as banditry in Northern Nigeria, and questioned his credibility as a commentator on national issues.

The AYCL dismissed Yusuf’s claims of representing the Northern Elders Forum, emphasizing that he is not a member of the organization.

Dambazau emphasized that Yusuf’s actions are driven by a desire for recognition and fame, rather than a genuine commitment to national development.

In contrast, AYCL praised President Tinubu’s administration for its achievements in various sectors, including security and the economy. The organization urged Yusuf to acknowledge the progress made by the government and to refrain from baseless attacks on leaders who are working towards the advancement of the country.

“Usman Yusuf, a former government official who was removed due to his questionable actions, has resorted to trying to undermine the achievements of the current administration out of sheer jealousy and desperation. His support for criminal activities in the Northern region, as well as his false claims of speaking for the Northern Elders Forum, demonstrate his lack of credibility and integrity.

“It is evident that Yusuf’s attacks on President Tinubu stem from his own personal frustrations and insecurities. His delusional rants only serve to highlight his own failures and inadequacies, rather than criticize the administration in a meaningful and constructive manner,” Dambazau said.

The AYCL urges the public to ignore the nonsensical ramblings of Usman Yusuf and focus on the positive developments and progress that have been achieved under the leadership of President Tinubu. It warned that individuals like Yusuf, who are driven by personal vendettas and political agendas, should not be given a platform to spread misinformation and propaganda. The group said it is time for Usman Yusuf to accept his irrelevance and move on from his desperate attempts to gain attention.
