Afenifere, Yoruba Youths, Say Pa Adebanjo Is Alive As Grand Council of Yoruba Youths Celebrates Aregbesola @ 67
Afenifere, a Yoruba socio-cultural group has said that its leader, Pa Ayo Adebanjo, is alive. This is just as the Agbarijo Egbe Odo Yoruba (Grand Council of Yoruba Youths) has dispelled the rumoured death of the 96 year-old leader.

Media sources quoted a Personal Assistant to Adebanjo, simply identified as Emmanuel, and the Secretary General of Afenifere, the socio-cultural group, Sola Ebisieni, as dismissing the rumour, insisting that he was asleep at the time of the enquiry.
Ebisieni confirmed that papa is hale and hearty, stressing that they were together last night.
He said it was a mistaken identity of the death of the former University of Ibadan Vice Chancellor, Ayo Banjo who died on Friday.
On his part, Comrade Awa Bamiji, the President-General of the Grand Council of Yoruba Youths in the group’s reaction to a report tilted “Ayo Adebanjo dies @ 90: Hmmmmmmmmnn, can this be true???” and another “Chief Ayo Adabanjo goes home @ 90. May his soul rest in peace. Amen”, said “Baba is not 90 but 96, which he celebrated in April, to start with.
“Therefore, we should be able to deduce the result of any faulty foundation – Agbarijo Egbe Odo Yoruba, Grand Council of Yoruba Youths.
“Agba Sanko Ti Ile Odu’a, Kara o le o! The Elderstateman in Yorubaland, we wish you sound health”, the Yoruba youths said.

While wishing Pa Adebayo a sound health and prosperity, the Yoruba youths equally celebrated “one of our foremost Leaders in Civil Societies, in Yorubaland, former Lagos Commissioner for Works, 2 – term Governor of Osun and immediate past Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola @ 67.

“In the same vein, we are felicitating our 2 leading Royal Mentors, the First Class Obas in Yorubaland, Teachers of all seasons and the Elderstatemen on the occasion of their individual coronation Anniversaries.
