The 2023 Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party, (LP) Peter Obi was crowned, “The most impactful politician of the 2023” by the Champion Newspapers.

Obi dedicated the award which was conferred on him at the weekend in Lagos to his supporters popularly called Obidients and every other Nigerian who desired a better future for the country.

The former Anambra State Governor who was represented at the event by Dr Yunusa Tanko said he was humbled by the recognition adding that he was not desperate to be president of Nigeria.

It is on record that his messages attracted over 12.5 million Nigerian youths.

He noted that his concern was merely to see Nigeria that, “works for the benefit of every one and not for the few privileged individuals.

Obi also told the All Progressives Congress led Federal Government to reorder it priorities and concentrate on projects that would promote production.

He equally called on the government to do more to secure Nigeria adding there would be no meaningful progress without first securing the country.

Obi regretted that the country has become more so unsafe such that killing and kidnapping were now common occurrences all over the country with many turning refugees in their own country.
