Kogi Governor’s Appeal Court Victory A Triumph of Democracy and the People’s Choice – Says AASU President’s SSA
The Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the President of the All Africa Students’ Union (AASU), Comrade Otaru Muhammed Onimisi, has congratulated Alhaji Usman Ododo, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, on his resounding electoral dispute victory at the Appeal Court of Nigeria.
The court’s ruling reaffirmed Governor Ododo’s mandate, solidifying the trust and confidence of the Kogi people in his leadership.
According to the SSA to AASU President, “The Appeal Court ruling is a confirmation of the perfect will of God and the irrefutable choice of Kogi people. It reinforces the confidence our people have in the judiciary and sets a precedent for true democracy in Nigeria and Africa.”
Comrade Onimisi noted that Governor Ododo’s victory is a testament to his transparent, accountable, competent, and committed leadership, which has resonated with the people of Kogi State.
As Comrade Onimisi added, “Governor Alhaji Usman Ododo is a model of this kind of leadership, and this victory shows that the people of Kogi overwhelmingly voted for him. No amount of opposition can contest that mandate.”
The SSA urged all Kogi people, regardless of political affiliations or ethnic backgrounds, to unite in support of their “God-ordained Governor.”
He emphasized, “It is time for Kogi people to rise up and support our God-ordained Governor. Let us all rise to the faith of greatness.”
The congratulatory message extended to Governor Ododo, the government, and people of Kogi State, celebrates this significant milestone in the state’s political history.
