Zenith Labour Party Chairman, Chief Dan Nwanyanwu, Alleges Threat to Life by Minister’s Agent

Chief Dan Nwanyanwu, National Chairman of the Zenith Labour Party, held a press conference today to address a threat to his life. According to Chief Nwanyanwu, the threat was made by Moses Emmanuel, an agent of former Governor of Rivers State and current Minister of Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike.

Chief Nwanyanwu alleged that Moses Emmanuel confronted him at the Transcorp Hilton hotel, threatening his life in response to an interview he granted on the crisis in Rivers State. The chairman expressed concerns about the escalating crisis in the state and the potential impact on national security.

Chief Nwanyanwu demanded adequate security for himself and his family and an undertaking from Chief Wike to be held responsible if anything happens to them. He also called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Inspector General of Police, Director General of the DSS, and the National Security Adviser to investigate the matter and ensure his safety.

The incident has sparked concerns about the safety of political leaders and the rising tensions in the country. The Zenith Labour Party has called on its supporters to remain calm and urged the authorities to take necessary measures to ensure the protection of all citizens.

Chief Nwanyanwu stated, “I will not be intimidated or silenced by these threats. I will continue to speak out on issues affecting our nation, and I demand that the authorities take necessary action to ensure my safety and the safety of all Nigerians.”

The party has also called for a thorough investigation into the matter and has demanded that Chief Wike be held accountable for any harm that may come to Chief Nwanyanwu or his family.

The incident has sparked widespread condemnation, with many calling for greater protection for political leaders and an end to the rising violence in the country.
