The Nigerian Guild of Investigative Journalists (NGIJ) has extended its heartfelt condolences to Ramon Nasir, Head of Corporate Affairs at United Bank for Africa, on the passing of his mother, Musiliat Amoke Nasir, popularly known as Olowoletiasho.

The 86-year-old matriarch, who was the Iya-Oba of Imasayi Kingdom, Yewa, Ogun State, left an indelible mark on her community and family.

In a condolence message, NGIJ described Mama Musiliat as a “strong pillar of support for her children and a resourceful community leader.”

The Guild urged Ramon Nasir to find solace in the testimonies of his mother’s good deeds and contributions to society.

NGIJ prayed that Almighty Allah would grant the late Musiliat Amoke eternal rest and forgive her shortcomings.

The Guild joined the families of Falade, Kuoye, Nasir, and Rasaq in mourning the loss of their beloved matriarch, who passed away on Friday at Duchess International Hospital, Ikeja, Lagos.

A devoted Muslim, Mama Musiliat was buried at her residence, 11 Oredola Estate, Okepadi, Ado-Odo, Ogun State.

The families have requested prayers for the repose of her soul, and NGIJ has joined in this call, praying along with them for the eternal rest of this remarkable woman.
