Ughelli North Leaders Unanimously Endorse Governor Oborevwori’s Developmental Strides
In a resounding show of support, the Elected and Political Appointees Forum of Ughelli North Local Government Area has passed a unanimous vote of confidence in Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s leadership and infrastructural transformation of Delta State.
The endorsement was made during a meeting hosted by Dr. Isaac Akpoveta, Director General of the Delta State Contributory Health Commission (DSCHC), at his country home in Ofuoma, Ughelli North.
The vote of confidence was moved by Dr. Chris Oharisi, Board Chairman of the Delta State College of Health Technology, Ofuoma, and seconded by Mr. Sylvester Ovbidje, member representing Ughelli and Udu at the Board of the Delta State Oil Producing Area Development Commission (DESOPADEC).
The forum’s chairman, Olorogun Jaro Egbo, praised Governor Oborevwori for his equitable development initiatives, ensuring that all parts of the state benefit from his administration’s projects.
Egbo, newly elected and sworn in as the Chairman of Ughelli North Local Government Council, also commended members for their support during the electioneering period.
Other speakers, including Engr. Christabel Obiuwevbi, Director representing Delta Central at the Direct Labour Agency, and Sir Festus Ahon, Chief Press Secretary to Governor Oborevwori, echoed the sentiments, highlighting the governor’s leadership impact and upcoming project commissions.
Host Dr. Isaac Akpoveta noted that Governor Oborevwori’s inclusive leadership style has ensured that no tribe or section of the state is left behind, fostering a sense of unity and cooperation.
