Delta Governor Hails Orodje of Okpe on 18th Coronation Anniversary, Says It’s Reign of Peace and Progress

Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has felicitated the Chairman of Delta State Council of Traditional Rulers and the Orodje of Okpe Kingdom, Orhue I, Maj.-Gen. Felix Mujakperuo (rtd), on his 18th coronation anniversary, describing him as a “renowned elder statesman and bridge builder” whose reign has brought immense benefits to the kingdom and humanity.

In a statement, Governor Oborevwori praised the monarch for uniting the kingdom’s citizens, creating a tranquil and investment-friendly environment, and supporting his administration’s M.O.R.E Agenda. He commended the royal father for his leadership, wisdom, and commitment to preserving the customs and culture of the Okpe people.

The Governor said, “I join the good people of Okpe Kingdom and Deltans in celebrating a great monarch… In the last 18 years on the throne, His Royal Majesty, Orhue 1, has kept up his brilliant and influential leadership by motivating the Okpe people, Urhobos, and the Delta Traditional Institution to achieve greater things.”

Governor Oborevwori prayed for the monarch’s continued health, longevity, and wisdom in leading the Delta State Traditional Rulers Council and Okpe Kingdom.
