Nigeria’s Minister of Steel Development, Prince Shuaibu Abubakar Audu, has congratulated the Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Ahmed Usman Ododo, on his victory at the Supreme Court. The court’s landmark judgment, delivered on Friday, August 23, in Abuja, affirmed Governor Ododo as the duly elected governor of Kogi State.

In a statement issued by his Special Assistant on Media, Lizzy Okoji, Prince Audu described the Supreme Court’s judgment as a victory for democracy and the electoral process, reflecting the true will of the people of Kogi State.

As the Director General of the Kogi State All Progressives Congress (APC) Gubernatorial Campaign Council, Prince Audu expressed his belief that the Supreme Court would affirm Governor Ododo’s victory.

Prince Audu urged all Kogites to accept the judgment and work together towards building a better, more peaceful, and prosperous Kogi State.

He also cautioned supporters of the APC to celebrate the victory with caution, avoiding provocations to opponents in other parties.

Emphasizing the need for unity, Prince Audu stated, “Beyond party differences and affiliations, we are all brothers and sisters, and we must continue to believe in one Kogi.”

On behalf of himself, his family, and the Federal Ministry of Steel Development, Prince Audu extended heartfelt congratulations to Governor Ododo on this historic victory.

The Minister’s congratulatory message reflects the widespread support for Governor Ododo’s leadership and the Supreme Court’s affirmation of his election victory.
