Bursary Award: Delta State Governor Approves Financial Assistance for Indigenes in Nigeria Law Schools
In a move aimed at supporting the educational pursuits of Delta State indigenes, Governor Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori has approved the year 2022/2023 Financial Assistance for students of Delta State origin in the seven Nigeria Law Schools across the country.
This latest development comes on the heels of the recent approval of the year 2022/2023 bursary award to over 30,000 students of Delta State origin in tertiary institutions in Nigeria, demonstrating the Governor’s commitment to advancing the human capital development of Deltans.
According to a statement signed by the Executive Secretary, Delta State Bursary and Scholarship Board, Dr. Godfrey Enita, the Governor’s approval is in line with his MORE agenda, which prioritizes the advancement of human and infrastructural development in Delta State.
The bursary award is expected to provide relief and support to Delta State indigenes pursuing their legal education in Nigeria Law Schools, enabling them to focus on their studies without financial burdens.
