The Minister of Steel Development, Prince Shuaibu Abubakar Audu, has extended warm felicitations to the Muslim community as they celebrate Eid-El-Maulud, marking the birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
In a statement signed by his Special Assistant on Media, Lizzy Okoji, Prince Audu urged Muslim faithful and Nigerians to reflect on the life, teachings, and principles of Prophet Muhammad, drawing strength from his examples to foster peace, unity, and understanding.
“Eid-El-Maulud is a time for reflection, gratitude, and reaffirmation of our shared values of peace, compassion, and unity,” Prince Audu said. “The Prophet’s commitment to justice, kindness, and service to humanity should inspire us all.”
The Minister noted that Nigeria is undergoing significant economic reforms under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope Agenda,” emphasizing the need for citizens to embrace values like hard work, integrity, and resilience.
“This critical period requires us to come together, overcome challenges, and build a brighter future for generations to come,” Prince Audu stated.
He also encouraged Nigerians to remember the less privileged during the celebration, extending acts of kindness and generosity to foster a sense of belonging.
Prince Audu wished the Muslim community a joyous Eid-El-Maulud, praying that it strengthens bonds of friendship and love, inspiring citizens to promote peace, progress, and development.
“On behalf of myself, my family, and the Ministry of Steel Development, I wish you a happy Eid-El-Maulud celebration,” Prince Audu concluded.
