Kogi State Bolsters Security with 100 Armored Vehicles, Governor Ododo Lauds President Tinubu’s Support
In a significant boost to security efforts, Kogi State Governor Alh Ahmed Usman Ododo has flagged off the distribution of 100 new armored personnel carriers to security agencies. This move aims to enhance the state’s security architecture and make Kogi unbearable for criminals.
“We are gathered here today to fulfill our promise to ensure security in our dear state,” Governor Ododo declared during the ceremony at Government House in Lokoja. “The distribution of these operational vehicles will enhance the mobility and utilization of our security agencies.”
Commander Jerry Omodara (Retired), State Security Adviser, emphasized the strategic importance of the vehicles. “This gesture is consistent with the state government’s determination to ensure security of lives and property across Kogi State. These vehicles will support our security officers in ongoing clearance operations.”
Kogi State Commissioner of Police, Bethrand Onuoha, praised Governor Ododo’s unwavering commitment to security. “We are grateful for the governor’s efforts in securing lives and property. This support will go a long way in our fight against crime.”
Honorable Kingsley Fanwo, Commissioner for Information and Communications, reaffirmed the state government’s resolve. “Protecting our citizens is our top priority. We will continue to work tirelessly to ensure Kogi State remains safe and secure.”
