Nsukka Royal Fathers Host, Laud Chairman Asogwa, Hail Governor Mbah’s Development Strides
The royal fathers of Nsukka Local Government Area (LGA) recently welcomed Hon. Engr. Sir Jude Chinedu Asogwa, the new Chairman of Nsukka LGA, in a meeting that marked the beginning of a harmonious relationship between his administration and the traditional rulers.
His Royal Majesty, Igwe Anthony Ndidiamaka Ezenma, Eze-ani 1 of Eziani Kingdom, who chairs the royal fathers, commended Governor Peter Ndubisi Mbah for appointing Engr. Asogwa, expressing confidence in his ability to excel as Chairman.
Igwe Ezenma lavished praise on Governor Mbah’s exceptional achievements, describing him as “Mr. Project” for his widespread development initiatives across Enugu State. He noted that Governor Mbah’s projects have brought remarkable transformation to the state, citing the governor’s commitment to equitable distribution of resources.
“Love Governor Mbah or hate him, like his face or hate it, he is doing marvellously well. No one can take that away from him. His good work is speaking for him everywhere,” Igwe Ezenma said.
The royal father urged Hon. Asogwa to demonstrate leadership, humanity, and availability, while avoiding authoritarian leadership. He emphasized the need for unity among the LGA’s politicians and stakeholders, encouraging Asogwa to support his efforts to bring them together.
Other royal fathers, including HRH Igwe Anthony Ochike, advised Hon. Asogwa on the importance of maintaining a robust relationship between his administration and the traditional rulers.
Igwe Ezenma reassured Governor Mbah of the royal fathers’ support, acknowledging that the people of Enugu State are benefiting under his leadership.
The meeting, held at ‘Obu’ Nsukka, was a significant step towards fostering cooperation between Hon. Asogwa’s administration and the royal fathers, with Governor Mbah’s visionary leadership at the forefront.
