Governor Mutfwang Welcomes PDP Governors to Plateau State for Crucial Meeting
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governors’ Forum is set to hold a two-day meeting in Jos, Plateau State, starting today, November 22, 2024. The forum, chaired by Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State, will bring together governors elected under the PDP platform to discuss critical issues affecting the party and the nation.
According to a press statement from the Office of the Executive Governor of Plateau State, Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang has welcomed the delegates to the meeting, wishing them fruitful deliberations and a memorable stay in the state.
The meeting is scheduled to take place at the EXCO Chamber, New Government House, Rayfield, Jos, starting at 9:00 AM on Saturday, November 23, 2024.
A welcome dinner has been planned for tonight at 6:30 PM at the Banquet Hall, New Government House, Rayfield, Jos.
The meeting is expected to address pressing issues affecting the party and the nation, with the governors set to engage in robust discussions and deliberations.
This meeting comes ahead of the party’s 99th National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting scheduled for November 28, where the future of acting National Chairman Ambassador Umar Ilyas Damagum is expected to be decided.
