The North Central Unity Forum for Good Governance Initiative, a group of indigenous and non-indigenous residents of the North Central states promoting peace and good governance, has thrown its weight behind Hon. Stephen Abraham Ajiya, endorsing him for the position of Vice Chairman, North Central Zone of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

According to the forum, Hon. Ajiya has consistently demonstrated unparalleled leadership qualities and resilience. “His ability to navigate complex political landscapes with integrity and vision has earned him the respect and admiration of party members and constituents alike,” said Zaccheaus Dauda, Secretary General of the North Central Unity Forum for Good Governance.

The forum noted that Ajiya’s leadership is characterized by a commitment to transparency, accountability, and inclusivity, making him the ideal candidate to steer the North Central Zone towards greater unity and progress.

“Hon. Ajiya’s charisma and dedication to the party are evident in his numerous personal sacrifices. He has tirelessly worked to bridge divides within the party, fostering a spirit of collaboration and mutual respect,” Dauda said.

As a staunch advocate for youth empowerment, Ajiya has initiated and supported numerous programmes aimed at uplifting young people in the North Central Zone. “His philanthropic efforts have provided educational opportunities, vocational training, and entrepreneurial support to countless youths, empowering them to become active contributors to the region’s development,” Dauda added.

The North Central Unity Forum for Good Governance Initiative has called on all members of the PDP in the North Central Zone to unanimously back Ajiya for the position of Vice Chairman.

“We urge the fathers of the PDP and all lovers of the party and advocates of quality leadership to rally behind Hon. Ajiya and support his candidacy for the North Central Zonal Chairmanship position,” Dauda said. “Together, we can ensure that the North Central Zone continues to thrive under his exemplary leadership.”
