The Honourable Minister of Defence, His Excellency Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, CON, mni, has sent a condolence message to the Executive Governor of Jigawa State, Mallam Umar A. Namadi, following the passing of his mother, Hajiya Maryam Namadi Umar.
In a statement, the Minister described the news of Hajiya Maryam’s demise as “heartbreaking” and expressed his deepest sympathies to the Governor, his family, and the people of Jigawa State.
“I was deeply shocked to receive the heartbreaking news of the demise of Hajiya Maryam Namadi Umar, the beloved mother of the Governor of Jigawa State,” the Minister said.
The Defence Minister prayed for the repose of Hajiya Maryam’s soul, seeking Almighty Allah’s mercy and granting her Jannatul Firdaus. He also prayed for strength and divine comfort for her family during this difficult time.
