In the social development sphere, Hon. Kovie Epetuku highlighted the implementation of Local Government Autonomy, the availability of Student Loans, and the elimination of passport scarcity. Furthermore, a new minimum wage of ₦70,000 has been implemented, benefiting workers across the country, he said.

Infrastructure development, he added, has also received significant attention, with the federal allocation to states being doubled. Hon. Epetuku also said that the Nigerian Stock Exchange has achieved its highest record, crossing the 100,000 All Share Index in 2024.

Additionally, he recalled that work on the 700-km Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway project with railway has commenced, promising to boost connectivity and economic growth.

In terms of security and education, Hon. Kovie Epetuku noted that notorious bandit kingpins have been neutralized, resulting in decreased incidents of insecurity.

According to him, the government has also implemented the ₦50,000 Presidential Conditional Grant Scheme to support nano businesses. Moreover, he said, the abduction of schoolchildren is now a thing of the past, ensuring a safer learning environment for Nigerian children.

Looking ahead to 2025, Hon. Kovie Epetuku anticipates even more progress, with a focus on lower fuel prices, elimination of insecurity, and food security.

The National Mathematical Center is also expected to regain its strength and synergy, improving science and technology education in Nigeria.

As President Tinubu continues to lead the country, Nigerians can expect a brighter future filled with promise and opportunity.
