“It’s very important to note that a government is not complete when you have security agencies who are not working with the government. It means that we are reverting to the days of anarchy. But we are happy here that we work in partnership, in synergy, and collaboration with the military, all paramilitary outfits, and the Nigerian police.

“And so we are happy to have you, work with us and we can assure you that in whichever way the State Government will support, we will continue to support the Nigerian Army, the 6 division, and the 16 Brigade that is here with us in Bayelsa State. So you are welcome, see Bayelsa as your home”, Governor Diri assured.
