Teenagers of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Winners Crown Parish, Unity Layout, Kwararafa Lokoja, were on Sunday charged to fulfill their purpose in life, just like Jesus Christ.
Sister Happiness Daniel, who preached the sermon, emphasized the importance of discovering and fulfilling one’s purpose. She used biblical examples, including Jesus, Joseph, Moses, Esther, and Paul, to illustrate individuals who fulfilled their purpose despite challenges and obstacles.
“If these individuals, who had the same passions and desires as us, could fulfill their purpose, what will stop us from fulfilling ours?” Sister Happiness asked.
Taking her text from Ephesians 2:10, which says, “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do,” Sister Daniel encouraged the teenagers to seek God’s plan for their lives and work towards fulfilling it.
The sermon was well-received by the teenagers, who were inspired to re-examine their purpose and passion in life.
The event was part of the church’s ongoing efforts to empower its youth and help them discover their potential in God.
