In a significant display of unity and collaboration, Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, welcomed Mr. Peter Obi, the 2023 Labour Party (LP) Presidential Candidate and former Governor of Anambra State, to Bauchi. The visit, marked by its emphasis on national cohesion, tolerance, and mutual respect, underscored the shared commitment of both leaders to Nigeria’s progress.
Governor Mohammed, speaking during the visit, highlighted the urgent need for unity across the nation. 
He called on leaders and citizens alike to prioritize the collective interests of the country over personal and political ambitions. “Patriotism remains the foundation for a brighter future,” he affirmed, reiterating his dedication as Chairman of the PDP Governors’ Forum to fostering unity and addressing divisions.
Mr. Obi, accompanied by an entourage that included former Minister of Finance Mrs. Nenadi Usman and other dignitaries, expressed his condolences to Governor Mohammed over recent losses.
He also used the occasion to engage in discussions on pressing national issues and strengthen consultations with key stakeholders.
