Engr. Ikenna Adikibe, Executive Chairman of Oru West Local Government Area of Imo State, extends warm felicitations to the government and people of Imo State, as well as the Muslim faithful, on the joyous occasion of Eid El Fitri.
In press release he personally signed, the council boss said, “As we mark the end of Ramadan, let me commend the Muslim community for their remarkable resilience, selflessness, and devotion to their faith”.
He noted that their unwavering commitment to the values of compassion, generosity, and kindness is a shining example to all, and a testament to the power of unity and love.

Engr. Adikibe also praised the leadership of Governor Hope Uzodinma, describing him as an “interesting faith tolerant leader” who has consistently demonstrated his commitment to promoting peaceful coexistence, social justice, and inclusive development across Imo State.
He acknowledged the Governor’s efforts to create an enabling environment for all faiths to thrive, and his vision for a more prosperous and harmonious Imo State.
The Street Reporters Newspaper reports that as the Executive Chairman of Oru West Local Government Area, Engr. Adikibe has continued to demonstrate passion for rural development and has been at the forefront of promoting service delivery and good governance, as well as community engagement.
This is even as his administration has implemented various initiatives aimed at improving the lives of the people, including investments in healthcare, job creation, education, and infrastructure development
In his Eid El Fitri message, Engr. Adikibe urged all Imolites to continue working together towards building a brighter future for themselves, their children, and generations to come.
He then wished the “Muslim faithful a joyous celebration, filled with love.”
