In a bid to strengthen the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State ahead of the 2027 general elections, Hon. Emmanuel Egbabor, the Organising Secretary of the PDP, has made a passionate appeal to Ward Chairmen in Isoko North Local Government Area. During a strategic meeting held in Ozoro, Egbabor emphasized the importance of unity and collaboration among party leaders at the grassroots level.
The meeting, which saw the attendance of all 13 Ward Chairmen, was aimed at fostering harmony and ensuring a collective effort toward delivering victory for the party’s candidates across all levels. Egbabor highlighted the need to set aside personal differences and focus on the larger goal of securing the party’s success.
Drawing attention to the achievements of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, particularly in the Isoko nation and across Delta State, Egbabor urged the Chairmen to leverage the administration’s performance as a foundation for regaining the support of former party members and attracting opposition supporters. He stressed that unity and reconciliation were key to achieving these objectives.
“We must unite and work together at the grassroots to ensure PDP’s continued success,” Egbabor stated. “Let’s reach out, reconcile, and bring back those who left. We need every hand on deck.”
The call for unity was echoed by Mr. Bernard Idisi, the PDP Local Government Chairman in Isoko North, who emphasized the importance of peace and collaboration among the Ward Chairmen. Idisi pledged to work closely with all stakeholders and party members in the local government to advance the party’s interests.
In response, Comrade Efe Sunday, Chairman of the Forum of Ward Chairmen, expressed gratitude to Egbabor for his leadership and commitment to party unity. He assured that all Ward Chairmen in Isoko North were fully committed to working together to deliver victory for the PDP in the forthcoming elections.
The meeting concluded with a renewed sense of purpose and determination among the party leaders, as they vowed to consolidate their efforts and build on the successes of the current administration to secure a brighter future for the PDP in Delta State.
