A prominent non-governmental organisation, Not Too Young To Perform (NTYTP), has extended warm Easter greetings to Christians in Nigeria and across the globe, calling for a renewed commitment to national development and unity.
In a statement signed by its National Secretary, Arc Muhammed Bello, the young people-driven leadership advocacy group described the 2025 Easter festival as a profound reminder of the enduring virtues exemplified by Jesus Christ — virtues such as patience, piety, perseverance, and ultimate victory over adversity.
The organisation emphasized that Christ’s crucifixion, death, and resurrection represent timeless messages of strength, determination, sacrifice, dominance, and divine restoration, all of which serve as guiding principles for believers and citizens alike.
Highlighting Nigeria’s pressing need for economic, social, civil, and institutional reforms, the NTYTP stressed the importance of empowering young people to drive policy changes capable of reversing long-standing national challenges. According to the group, involving the youth is vital to reclaiming and preserving Nigeria’s pride and legacy.
“We use this yuletide period to appeal to all State actors to prioritize the progress of this country above politics, region, ethnicity, and religion,” the statement read. “If we must rewrite our history, we must act today with the future generation in mind.”
The NTYTP expressed hope that the spiritual blessings of the Easter celebration would positively impact the lives of Nigerians and strengthen collective efforts towards building a more inclusive and prosperous nation.
“God bless the NTYTP. God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria,” the statement concluded.
