Filin Samji/Kofar Sauri communities has renewed its appeal to Katsina State Governor, Dikko Umar Radda, seeking his support for the long-awaited construction of a crucial access road connecting Kofar Durbi Yan Lemu to Kofar Sauri Yan Fura Fura, with a link to the Kofar Sauri GRA main road.
The call was reiterated by a prominent leader in the community, Professor Gide Filin Samji, during a recent community meeting held at Filin Samji Primary School.
In an interview with members of the press, Professor Gide described Governor Radda as a “project achiever” committed to transforming the state’s infrastructure through the construction of quality, tarred roads.
Professor Gide emphasized the significance of the feeder road, stressing that it would not only ease transportation for residents but also stimulate economic activities and improve the overall quality of life in the community.
“We appeal to Governor Radda to consider and approve the construction of this road, as previous requests to the Katsina State Government have been unsuccessful,” Professor Gide stated.
He further urged community members to remain united and persistent in advocating for the project, highlighting that the road’s completion would unlock numerous social and economic benefits for the wider environment.
The Filin Samji/Kofar Sauri community has long championed the need for this development, hoping that under Governor Radda’s administration, their aspirations will finally become a reality.
