The Honourable Commissioner for Local Government and Rural Development in Nasarawa State, and former National President of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), Hon. In his Easter message, Maifata described the resurrection of Jesus Christ as a profound source of joy, peace, and hope, encouraging residents to let the spirit of the season inspire acts of kindness and solidarity. He emphasized the need for reflection on the enduring values of compassion, service, and unity that Christ exemplified, urging citizens to embrace these principles in their daily lives and communal efforts.

He called on stakeholders to prioritize peace, understanding, and mutual cooperation, describing them as crucial pillars for the collective advancement of Nasarawa State.
