SECURITY BOOST: CP Omosanyin Strengthens Police-Army Alliance with High-Level Visit to 13 Brigade Headquarters in Calabar

In a strategic move to fortify the longstanding partnership between the Nigeria Police Force and the Nigerian Army, Commissioner of Police for Cross River State Command, CP Olusegun Eyitayo Omosanyin, paid a strategic courtesy visit to the 13 Brigade Headquarters of the Nigerian Army in Calabar on 23rd April, 2025.
Accompanied by his Management Team, CP Omosanyin received a warm welcome from the Brigade Commander and senior officers.
The high-level meeting served as a platform for vital discussions on shared goals, focusing on intelligence gathering and sharing, operational collaboration, and strengthening support systems to enhance statewide security.
Highlighting the crucial role of unified efforts in tackling modern security threats, CP Omosanyin stressed the need for ongoing cooperation between the agencies and reiterated the Police Command’s full commitment to deepening ties with the military.
The visit culminated in the signing of the Visitors’ Register and a commemorative group photograph, symbolizing the renewed bond between the two security institutions.
