In a landmark gathering set to rekindle the spirit and vision of the Obidient Movement, key national figures including the 2023 Labour Party Presidential Candidate, Peter Obi; Abia State Governor, Alex Otti; and Acting National Chairman of the Labour Party, Senator Nenadi Usman, will headline a high-profile event in Abuja on Tuesday, June 10, 2025.

According to a statement from the Peter Obi Media Reach (POMR), Obi will serve as Special Guest at the event, joining Governor Otti and other leading voices in what is being described as a strategic rebirth of the movement.

Renowned legal scholar, Professor Sam Amadi, will deliver a keynote address titled “The Inevitability of a New Nigeria,” expected to ignite deep national discourse. Other prominent contributors include the National Coordinator of the Obidient Movement, Dr. Yunusa Tanko.

Themed “The Renaissance of the Obidient Movement,” the event will also feature the unveiling of a new book titled Obi: The Political Change Agent, authored by veteran journalist and former Group Political Editor of THISDAY Newspapers, Ike Abonyi. The book’s foreword is penned by respected legal analyst and devoted Obidient advocate, Dele Farotomi, while former diplomat and Obi-Datti Campaign Manager, Oseloka H. Obaze, will provide a critical review.

The ceremony, which is drawing passionate supporters from across Nigeria, will take place at the Nigerian Air Force Centre in Kado, Abuja.
