NDE Kicks Off Online Registration For Second Phase Of Renewed Hope Employment Initiative (RHEI) In Oyo State

In-line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu led Administration, the National Directorate of Employment (NDE) in pursuit of its mandate of combating the menace of mass unemployment in the country will on Monday July 28, 2025 commence the online registration of unskilled persons nationwide for the second phase of the Renewed Hope Employment Initiative (RHEI).
Speaking on behalf of NDE Director-General, Dr. Silas Ali Agara ahead of the takeoff of the exercise in Oyo State, the State Coordinator, NDE Oyo State, Mr. Oke Paul Adegboye, informed that the job creation initiative, aims at training and empowering 21,782 (Twenty One Thousand, Seven Hundred and Eighty two) unskilled and unemployed persons nationwide in vocational, agricultural, digital and entrepreneurial skills training with activities in Public Works Sector.
He also said that, the online registration of participants is strictly for persons within the age of 18 to 40 years adding that the registration exercise will end on August 11, 2025.
He therefore appealed to all interested unemployed persons across the 33 Local government in Oyo State, and the nation at large to log on to www.nde.gov.ng or www.nderegistrationportal.ng with a valid National Identification Number (NIN), functional e-mail address and a recent passport photograph.
The D.G. emphasized that over the years, the activities of NDE have been refined and strengthened to meet up with the current challenges and proffering lasting solution for job creation.
