Founder of River Park Estate, Adrian Ogunmuyiwa, has firmly dismissed claims that he resigned from the company’s board, describing the reports as false and the documents being circulated as forgeries.
Ogunmuyiwa reacted to a letter recently published by Sahara Reporters and shared across social media platforms, which purportedly suggested that he had stepped down from his role. He insisted that the document was forged by his Ghanaian counterpart, whom he accused of orchestrating a scheme to take over the company.
In a statement released yesterday, Ogunmuyiwa said: “I want the world to know the truth situation that I never resigned. The purported letter released on publication by Sahara Reporters is fake.”
According to him, the forged resignation letter is one among several falsified documents being used by a Ghanaian identified as Kojo Mensah in an alleged attempt to hijack ownership of the firm. He cited other forgeries, including board resolutions and signatures, such as that of John Townley Johnson.
Ogunmuyiwa further revealed that the conspirators had unlawfully inserted an individual who, according to Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) records, had ceased to be a director and shareholder since 2008. He stressed that as of the status report conducted in 2020, he remained a duly recognized director.
“The Ghanaians completely removed all Nigerian board of directors from Houses for Africa Nigeria Limited, leaving only themselves as board members,” he explained. “This criminal act was first conducted in February 2024, as shown by the police report and CAC status report. If I resigned in 2017, why was I removed in 2024?”
The River Park Estate founder maintained that the documents circulated in 2024 were fabricated as part of a broader scheme by the Ghanaians to fraudulently take control of the company.
