The Umuigbo United Assembly (UUA) Worldwide has formally inaugurated a 25-member National Organising Committee to drive preparations for its 2025 National Summit scheduled for November 29 in Abuja, with the theme “Recover and Restore the Youths of the Nation.”

The virtual inauguration, held on Wednesday, September 24, was led by the President-General of UUA Worldwide, Evangelist Ambassador Raphael C.D. NwaDavid, who underscored the strategic importance of the summit in tackling youth-related challenges in Nigeria.

Welcoming participants, NwaDavid said the members were carefully chosen based on integrity and experience, urging them to invest their networks and personal commitment in delivering a landmark summit. He explained that the expansion of the committee to 25 members was aimed at ensuring every UUA structure was adequately represented.

He formally announced the leadership of the committee with Hon. Marcel Ezenwa, UUA National Contact and Mobilisation Officer, as Chairman; Princess Nne Nana Onwodi, UUA National Woman Leader, as Vice Chairman; Comrade Nwokocha Ogbonna, UUA Northern Chairman, as Secretary; and Barr. Joy Okwaraugo, UUA Lagos Legal Adviser, as Assistant Secretary.

Charging the committee, the President-General prayed for divine wisdom, guidance, and special grace for its members, stressing that the Abuja Summit must achieve its goal of youth recovery and restoration. “Together we must live in peace and prosperity,” he added.

Responding, the newly inaugurated Chairman, Hon. Marcel Ezenwa, thanked the President-General for the trust reposed in the team, assuring that members would work tirelessly to make the summit a success. He emphasized that the theme of the Abuja 2025 Summit is a call to action to rescue and restore the Nigerian youth for the nation’s sustainable future.

The National Summit 2025 is expected to provide a platform for charting a new course for Nigerian youths while reinforcing UUA’s vision for peace, unity, and development.
