The Orlu Zonal Progressive Union, Abuja Chapter, under the leadership of its President-General, Hon. Marcel Ezenwa, has felicitated Distinguished Senator Osita Bonaventure Izunaso, Esq., on the joyous occasion of his 59th birthday anniversary and the 20th anniversary of his globally acclaimed humanitarian initiative, the Kpakpando Foundation for the Physically Challenged Persons.

In a goodwill message personally signed by Hon. Ezenwa, the Union described Senator Izunaso as “a visionary statesman, an accomplished legislator, and a compassionate leader whose selfless service continues to illuminate lives across Nigeria.”

He said, “On behalf of the members of the Orlu Zonal Progressive Union, Abuja, I warmly congratulate our illustrious son, Distinguished Senator Osita Izunaso, on the celebration of his 59th birthday and two decades of unwavering service to humanity. This double milestone reflects a life defined by humility, purpose, and uncommon dedication to the betterment of society.”

Hon. Ezenwa commended the Senator for his enduring contributions to governance, philanthropy, and human empowerment. He noted that through the Kpakpando Foundation, Senator Izunaso has demonstrated a rare sense of compassion by championing the inclusion, empowerment, and welfare of persons with disabilities across the nation.

“For twenty years, the Kpakpando Foundation has remained a beacon of hope, restoring dignity and opportunity to thousands of physically challenged individuals. Your devotion to their cause is a testament to genuine leadership anchored on empathy and service,” he remarked.

The President-General further lauded Senator Izunaso’s distinguished record in the National Assembly, where his advocacy for inclusive policies and social justice continues to reflect his deep understanding of governance and human development.

“Distinguished Senator Izunaso’s legislative achievements and his passionate advocacy for equity and social inclusion have earned him national respect. He stands today as one of Nigeria’s most principled and people-focused leaders,” Ezenwa noted.

He added that the Orlu Zonal Progressive Union, Abuja, takes great pride in Senator Izunaso’s exemplary leadership, describing him as “a true son of Orlu whose conduct and accomplishments embody the ideals of excellence, integrity, and service.”
