Hon. Alabi Kolade David Leads New Lagos ALGON Leadership On Visit To National Headquarters In Abuja

The former National President of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) and current Emeritus President, Hon. Alabi Kolade David, has paid an unscheduled visit to the ALGON national headquarters in Abuja.
He was accompanied by the new Chairman of ALGON Lagos State Chapter and Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government Area, Hon. Olowa Abdullah, and the new Secretary of ALGON Lagos State Chapter, Hon. Hamzat Usman.

During the visit, they were warmly received by the Chief of Staff to the President, Hon. Shehu Jega; the Director-General of ALGON, Barr. Mrs. Evan. Enekwe; the Director of Finance and Accounts, Nuhu Ozigi; the Deputy Director, Policy, Research and Planning, Chief Dimeji Lamuren; the Deputy Director, Administration and Human Resources, Alhaji Lawal; the Assistant Director, Finance, Bukola Ojo; the Assistant Director, Administration, Elder Otuonye Israel; the Assistant Director, Policy, Planning and Research, Chief Venatus Okafor; and other senior staff members.
In her welcome address, the Director-General expressed gratitude to Hon. Alabi Kolade David for continuing the tradition of introducing new ALGON National Executive Committee (NEC) members to the national family, a norm she said has become an interesting aspect of welcoming new state representatives to the national fold.
She welcomed the Lagos representatives and thanked them for visiting the headquarters with the State Secretary, pledging the National Office’s cooperation and support.
