…National Prosperity in Focus as Iyovwaye exposes The Hidden Treasures in the Niger Delta
Nigeria’s capital, Abuja, will host a high-profile gathering this Friday as Deacon Chris Iyovwaye — prominent Business Leader in the Niger Delta, Chairman of the Wellmann Group of Companies, and Advocacy and Mobilisation Coordinator of The Eminent Patriots in South South — formally presents his new book, The Hidden Treasures.
The unveiling, organised by the Deacon Chris Iyovwaye Foundation, is expected to provide fresh insights into the economic potentials of the Niger Delta. The publication, described as “An Exposition on the Rich Resources and Opportunities in the Niger Delta,” aims to stimulate national conversation on sustainable development and unity in Nigeria.
The event will take place on Friday, November 21, 2025, at 10:00 AM (WAT) in the prestigious Ladi Kwali Hall, Abuja Continental Hotel (formerly Sheraton Hotel), and will feature an impressive lineup of national statesmen and thought leaders.
Presiding over the occasion as Chairman is Major General Ike Omar Sanda Nwachukwu (rtd), CFR, an eminent leader of The Patriots and a former Minister of Foreign Affairs. He will lead other distinguished members of The Patriots in directing the proceedings, underscoring the significance of the book to national development agenda of the group.
Also gracing the ceremony as Special Guest of Honour is His Excellency Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, GCFR, former President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (2010–2015). While renowned constitutional lawyer and public affairs commentator, Prof. Mike Agbedor Abu Ozekhome, SAN, OFR will be delivering the keynote address of the event.
In a special communication to Eminent Nigerians and Leaders of The Patriots, Deacon Iyovwaye — the progenitor of Deacon Chris Iyovwaye Foundation — extended a personal invitation, urging full participation in support of the The Patriots’ ongoing national mission, a call endorsed by the Chairman of The Patriots, HE Chief Emeka Anyaoku, GCON.
“All distinguished Patriots are kindly enjoined to attend this very important event in advancement of unity and prosperity of Nigeria” the invitation signed by Olawale Okunniyi, Secretary General of The Patriots, read.
The organizers further emphasize that the event is strictly by invitation, and guests are expected to arrive punctually.
