Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed Ajia, Ph.D, Dan Amanan Fune Emirate and President/Chief Executive Officer of Funab Group of Companies Ltd, has called on Christians in Kwara State and across Nigeria to use the sacred celebration of Christmas to pray earnestly for the nation, its leaders, and divine intervention in the country’s security challenges.

In a Christmas message signed by his Director of Communications, Malam Abdulrahman Aliagan, and made available to journalists in Abuja, Ajia described the birth of Jesus Christ as a season imbued with the enduring virtues of love, sacrifice, peace, humility, and hope, noting that these values are critically needed in Nigeria at this time.

He urged Christians to dedicate the season to fervent prayers for Nigeria and its people, appealing to God Almighty to intervene positively in the nation’s affairs and grant lasting peace and stability across the country.

According to him, the Christian faithful should also remember Nigeria’s leaders in their prayers, seeking divine guidance, wisdom, and courage for them to govern with fairness, compassion, and a genuine commitment to national unity and sustainable development.

Ajia specifically called for prayers for God’s deliverance of Nigeria from the scourge of insecurity, stressing that peace and security remain fundamental to national growth, economic progress, and the overall wellbeing of citizens.

He further emphasized the importance of peaceful coexistence, mutual respect, and religious tolerance among Nigerians, irrespective of faith or ethnic background. Ajia noted that Nigeria’s strength lies in its unity in diversity and encouraged citizens to use the Christmas season to promote love, kindness, and support for the less privileged.

The business leader expressed optimism that with collective prayers, renewed moral values, and shared goodwill, Nigeria would surmount its current challenges and move steadily towards a future marked by peace, stability, and prosperity.

He concluded by wishing Christians in Kwara State and across the country a joyful Christmas celebration, praying that the season would usher in renewed hope, stronger faith, and abundant blessings for families nationwide.
