Ikemba 1 Chieftaincy Title Conferred on AASU President H.E. Osisiogu Osikenyi

The Abia State Government, through the Office of the Traditional Ruler of Avodim Autonomous Community, Ubakala, Umuahia South Local Government Area of the state, has officially conferred the Chieftaincy Title of “Ikemba 1” on the President of the All-Africa Students Union (AASU), H.E. Chief Osisiogu Osikenyi E.

The conferment was carried out by His Royal Majesty Eze B.C. Onyemachi, Avo Ukwu II of Avodim Autonomous Community, under the authority granted by Article 19, Section of the Edict No. 8 of 1991.

The certificate, signed and sealed on December 30, 2025, recognizes Chief Osisiogu’s meritorious service to the community and Nigeria in general.

This honour marks a significant moment in the traditional leadership history of Avodim Autonomous Community, celebrating individuals whose contributions have positively impacted both local and national spheres.

Chief Osisi, who is also the Dalma of Kodape Chiefdom in Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, is a frontline aspirant for the Karu/Keffi/Kokona Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives under the Young Progressives Party (YPP).
