Mrs. Adanna Nkiru Anyaso, popularly known as Ada ma obi ndi Bende and wife of the Labour Party candidate for Bende Federal Constituency, Dr. Chima Anyaso, has visited a widow in Ugwueke who lost her husband in the torrential flooding that affected the community a few weeks ago.

Mrs. Anyaso visited Bende on Wednesday to continue engagements with residents as political activities gather momentum, while her husband was away on business engagements in Lagos.

She was accompanied by a family friend, Mr. Ogochukwu, popularly known as Havydon.

Inspection Of Ongoing Two-Bedroom Bungalow Project

On their way from the airport, the team stopped at Ugwueke to visit the widow and also inspected the site of an ongoing two-bedroom bungalow being personally constructed by Mrs. Anyaso for the widow.

The housing project is aimed at providing improved living conditions for the widow and her family following their loss in the flood disaster.

The visit underscores the Anyaso family’s continued commitment to humanitarian intervention and support for vulnerable residents in Bende Federal Constituency.

We Are In This Together — Chima Anyaso

Reacting to the visit, Dr. Chima Anyaso expressed appreciation to his wife, family members, friends and members of the OFUJI Campaign Council for their commitment and support.

He described their involvement as a demonstration of compassion, sacrifice and service to the people, noting that the journey goes beyond an individual and concerns the welfare and future of the people of Bende.

Dr. Anyaso thanked his wife, sister, friend and campaign council members for their dedication, adding that their collective efforts reflect importance of community engagement and support for vulnerable residents.
“We are in this together, and together, we shall make a difference,” he stated.
The construction of the bungalow is ongoing, with residents of Ugwueke commending the gesture as timely intervention for the flood-affected family.
