BREAKING: President Buhari Appoints New Service Chiefs, NSA

Following the sack of former service chiefs and the national security adviser earlier on Monday, President Mohammadu Buhari has named the country’s new Service Chiefs.

Those appointed as replacement included Major-General Abayomi Gabriel Olonishakin – Chief of Defence Staff; Major-General T.Y. Buratai – Chief of Army Staff; Rear Admiral Ibok-Ete Ekwe Ibas – Chief of Naval Staff; Air Vice Marshal Sadique Abubakar – Chief of Air Staff; Air Vice Marshal Monday Riku Morgan – Chief of Defence Intelligence.

The new national Security adviser, TheStreetReporters.com gathered is Major-General Babagana Monguno (rtd.), he takes over from Col. Sambo Dasuki who was relieved of his duties earlier on Monday.
