At last, Pres Buhari Signs 2016 Appropriation Bill

At last, President Mohammud Buhari today, signed signed the 2016 Appropriation Bill into law.

The signing ceremony was performed at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, according to a report monitored on Radio Nigeria and at the State House.

Most reporters were not allowed into the venue of the ceremony because of space. Only cameramen from the electronic media were allowed to cover the event.

Among those who witnessed the signing ceremony were Vice President Yemi Osinbajo; the President of the Senate, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki; and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara.

Others included the Minister of Budget and National Planning, Senator Udoma Udo Udoma; the Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun; the Minister of State for Budget and National Planning, Zainab Ahmed; the Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly Matters (Senate), Ita Enang; the Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly Matters (House of Representatives), Samaila Kawo; the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, John Odigie-Oyegun; the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Appropriation, Danjuma Goje; and the Chairman House of Representatives Committee on Appropriation, Abdulmumuni Jubril.
