COVID-19: Capital Market Operators Donate 150 Thermometers to Katsina State Govt
Capital Market operators have donated no fewer than 150 thermometers in support of fight against COVID-19 in Katsina State, the Chief Press Secretary to the Deputy Governor Katsina State, Ibrahim Musa Kallah said in a statement made available to The Street Reporters Newspaper.
Presenting the items, the Leader of the team Sagir Uzairu said, the donation is in line of State Government commitment in providing health services State in the State.
According to him, similar items have been donated to other States of the Federation.
Responding while receiving the thermometers, the Deputy Governor Alhaji Mannir Yakubu expressed his appreciation towards the gesture, he said it was in line with the State Government commitment to address the spread of COVID-19 in the State.
He mentioned that government is making provision for providing the themometers being the first stage of identifying the health status of COVID-19 suspect patient.
The Deputy Governor who is also the chairman COVID-19 emergency response committee in the state explained that the donation of the items is well deserved and timely adding that the importance of the items cannot be over emphasized.
