The Inter Party Advisory Council (IPAC), Enugu State Chapter hails the Enugu State Governor, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi on the occasion of celebration of the momentous diamond anniversary of the Independence of our great country, Nigeria and the 29th anniversary of the creation of Enugu State.
Speaking to newsmen at the IPAC Secretariat in Enugu, the state Chairman, Barr. Ken Ikeh stated that NdiEnugu have good reasons to celebrate.
We are blessed with a people friendly Governor, a peace maker, humane leader and epitome of good governance.
According to the chairman, “If you drive around the city of Enugu State and the 17 Local Government Areas of the state, you will confess that Enugu State Governor is doing very well and has consolidated on the efforts our past heroes.
At the level of IPAC, other groups/associations and disputing communities, we have witnessed unalloyed commitment to consensus building which has disproved the erroneous believe that politics and strife are coterminous.
As we celebrate, we urge our able Governor to ensure that the established leadership recruitment tradition in Enugu State is sustained.
On the other hand, the IPAC Chairman tasked President Buhari to reassure Nigerians that he is not just an APC President citing infrastructures in APC controlled states.
Ikeh further stated that the just concluded Edo State gubernatorial election raised hopes that INEC can get things done properly. He therefore urged the president to support INEC to consolidate on the gains recorded in Edo State.
