KILLINGS: Why Only A President of Nigeria of South East Extraction Come May 29, 2023 Can Guarantee Security, Peace, Unity, National Prosperity
While lamenting the rate of mindless killings in Nigeria this week alone, the killings in Ebonyi, Enugu and most other states of Nigeria, which is now daily occurrence, the South East APC Presidency Project 2023 has given insight into how to ensure peace, security and national prosperity.
According to a statement signed by its National Coordinator, Dr Chinedu Jideofo-Ogbuagu, the South-East APC Presidency Project 2023 strongly noted that “one thing that will stop the mindless killings and return Nigeria to a state of normalcy is the promise of a South-Easterner becoming President of Nigeria from 29th May 2023.”
The group seeking the emergence of a Nigerian of the South East extraction in 2023 added that “If it is not killings by armed robbers, it is by kidnappers; if it is not by kidnappers, it is by bandits; if it is not by bandits, it is by other terrorists – Boko Haram, Islamic State of West Africa Province and other militia groups terrorising all parts of Nigeria.”
Dr Chinedu Jideofo-Ogbuagu, who said that it is just 2 years away, asked “is it not reasonable for all Nigerians of good conscience to set aside every other consideration and invest time, money and other resources into actualization of emergence of a South-Easterner as President of Nigeria come 2023?”
He emphasised that “Unless we do, we may not be alive to enjoy that time, that money and those resources that we are not now investing in production of President of Nigeria of South East extraction. Let us not be penny wise and pound foolish on this matter.
“With security that President of Nigeria of South-East extraction will bring, will also come peace, unity and general prosperity that will be deserved returns on investments into emergence of a South-Easterner as successor to President Muhammadu Buhari.
“Support South East APC Presidency Project 2023 materially for better tomorrow of Nigeria and all Nigerians. We have no other reasonable choice,”, he said.
