SDP Presidential Candidate Prince Adewole Adebayo Says Party Bringing Victory, Prosperity to Nigerians
The Presidential Candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Prince Adewole Adebayo has commissioned a multi-billion naira national secretariat of the party in Abuja.
While speaking at the commissioning, Prince Adebayo said “the SDP is bringing to Nigerians victory and prosperity” if elected president come 2023.
He charged Nigerians to fight poverty, noting that “poverty is ungodly and unnatural. If we don’t fight poverty, it will produce children which is insecurity.”
He added that the SDP is a Youth Oriented party and therefore Nigerian youths should vote for SDP in 2023 elections.
He reiterated that his running mate, a banker Mr Yusuf Salisu Buhari is a youth.
“SDP has a young person as the National Chairman” in respect of Mr Shehu Gabam, and he informed Nigerians that “the opportunity you have been looking for is in SDP.
On his part, the former National Chairman of the SDP, Chief Olu Falae charged the party to canvass for grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2023 General Election in Nigeria.
Chief Falae who stated this at the inauguration of the SDP’s New National Secretariat in Abuja Nigeria’s Capital added that this will enable the party win the 2023 Presidential election.
Chief Falae who commended Nigeria’s electoral umpire the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC’s BVAS technology, said “with the Technology in place to transmit election results there will be minimal room for rigging in the 2023 general electionn.”
The former presidential candidate of Alliance For Democracy (AD) in 1999, added that the party has “a credible and competent Presidential Candidate in the person of Adewole Adebayo who did not only show the knowledge of law but history, anthropology, architecture and other fields.”
The Elder Statesman also said that the SDP “may not have a governor today, may not be in Aso rock, but the SDP is getting there”.
Chief Falae then challenged Government at all levels to do more in tackling insecurity, banditry and kidnapping adding that “Nigeria today is bedevilled with many challenges.”
He reiterated that “SDP is the only party that can restructure and revive Nigeria”.
Also in attendance at the event was Former Liaison Officer to President Shehu Shagari, Dr. Tanko Yakasai who was represented by the SDP gubernatorial candidate in Adamawa State, Northeast, Nigeria, Dr Umar Ardo said the electoral act has made it impossible for anyone to rig the election.
The event was graced by the party’s State Chairmen from the thirty-six states and the FCT. Women as well as youth wings of the party from across the country.
