Obasanjo Vacates Seat For Peter Obi, Says “My Job Is Done” in Viral VIDEO
Former President Olusegun Obasanjo in a viral video vacated his seat and placed Presidential Candidate of Labour Party, Peter Obi, on it in a move considered symbolic by Obi’s supporters.
In the video both leaders were at the event and just before leaving, Obasanjo gave a short speech then elevated Peter Obi by placing him on his seat.
The video begins as Obasanjo was rounding up his speech, saying, “… the president of Nigeria…” while looking in Peter Obi’s direction.
As another guest at the event walked towards the Labour Party presidential candidate’s seat, Obasanjo urged the gues: “leave him o. Leave him,” eliciting laughter from other guests.
Then Obasanjo beckoned on Peter Obi, drew closer to him, then took him by his hand and moved him to his seat.
At that moment, the former President said, “My job is done!”, applauding himself with clapping as he took his leave.
