Mr. Peter Obi, Is An Underdog, Just Like Buhari In 2015: Could He Become Another Ordained President Of Nigeria, Just Like Buhari?
“Our Outgoing President, A Tolerable Human Being Forced To Bend Over Backwards For Partisan Sake.”
“In a similar vein, I believe whatever change that might occur, would encompass and have a heavy toll on the doubting Thomases and the evil-minded amongst us and not those who are perpendicular in their dealings that have the display of good consciences and knowledge of what the Lord can do with his anointed. I have always known that these incidents of change that would takeo a sudden posture with people being taken unawares would take place only by the prompting of the forces of nature not the making of man, however, their permutations backed by the quantum of Naira or Dollars in the display. Nigeria is due for a change. And change, we must have. Not what some persons who have no love for, nor crave for a new egalitarian and prosperous Nigeria other than “self”, are engaged in persuading this innocent man, President Buhari, to forcefully endorse. Let’s wait and see, there is still much time before the elections to expect some more dramas.”

“Those who are spiritually evolved know that the current President wasn’t just brought into governance, his presidency had divine interference except for the heavy involvement of human devils enmeshed in evil, who thought otherwise; eventually, attempted to ravage and forge all manners of distractions and the mixed up experienced in the process in governance under Buhari, we would have had a fairly well-developed Nigeria beyond what we have now if the President was encouraged to have his way. And it will take another highly exposed, endowed, and ordained concerned Nigerian one with the fear of the Lord to rule this country with the reflection of equity and justice, after General Buhari’s tenure is over, to have things normalized, otherwise, we are in for the worse”.
“Nonetheless, I do not know how fair that would subsist, to have those who are unpleasantly yoked, lumped together for campaigns in expectation of a resounding victory over the opponents who are now so diverse and are confrontational towards the facts be-deviling the country needing prompt solutions that they believe could only come from a person whom they consider fit enough in agility and with character traits and record of unblemished services in his last assignment devoid of corruption or being an accomplice to it; that may have matched that of the current president in their view, who can truly, and on the spot, on assumption in office, deliver the country profoundly out of the current quagmire by his ideas and not through a proxy, as it were, highly lacking in the candidacy of Jagaban.”

The question to be asked here first is whether human manipulation and coercion can alter a divine proclamation over a matter that has to do with the wishes of a majority of dispirited people eagerly yearning for change. And especially those whose cry is often directed to their creator owing to their human incapacitation, generally acclaimed to be the category of those whose wishes are usually reckoned with by the Lord Almighty in the light of their meekness as those trodden or unfairly treated?
This, in all indications, is the scenario to expect in the 2023 general elections especially the upsets that await the presidential polls in the country if the authority of the Almighty still rules Supreme over earthly activities.
Unfortunately, though Nigerians are a highly religious set of people, the irony is that those in positions of authority forget so easily in a given situation such as we have now, to incorporate or take cognizance of what the thinking of the Almighty might be, to whom they ascribed all powers and adoration to, between the two major religions, Islam and Christianity, in contrast, especially in which they have vested interest, simply because they are capable of forcing things to happen through manipulation using their human capacity or arm-twisting. You find this phenomenon even amongst the clergy.
THIS is why it is almost impossible to effect any change where one is due even when situations are rife considering how bad we are having it now in the country, so long as those in authority show gross indifference to it, that becomes the norm.
Nobody notices nor cares to identify with the injustices that abound but continues to glorify the authority and the perpetrators due to vested interest.
Incidentally, the majority of those to speak out or condemn what may be going on often decline to do so and rather would be glimpsing for ways through how they can manipulate their way easily up the ladder to join those who are a minority to share the commonwealth against the majority who wallow in abject poverty despite the display of piousness by these characters in their places of worship where their successes are often ascribed to blessings from the Almighty.
In my last writeup still, on this topic, I alluded to the promise I made as a public commentator, communicator, and partisan politician of the All Progressives Congress, (APC) that I will work and support the current president Mohammadu Buhari who is from the north as the party flag bearer which I have done, and after his tenure, I will not be involved in any presidential campaigns but concentrate on seeing who becomes the Governor of my state of Cross River, and would only change my mind if the person so nominated in my party has semblances of one ordained by the Lord of all creation, just like President Buhari was in 2015.
But with the insensitivity being on display towards the agitations of the Muslim, Muslim ticket for President, by members of the party who are Christian, especially those of our northern brothers and sisters, my reluctance is further heightened by such a show of indifference by a candidate and for the ruling party that stands as a beacon of hope for all Nigerians.
SOME time ago the wife of the President, Aisha Buhari, a very sensible young mother of four and an energetic First Lady, gets up to complain about this anomaly and the types of decisions taken which are seen to be unpopular with members of the section of the country.
But they’ll say it’s politics. And since she does not have any role in either the party or the government it all fizzles out and dies down as it resonated. By and large, this President is an obsequious human being who is one in a class of his own and makes no mistakes.
Those who are spiritually evolved know that the current President wasn’t just brought into governance, his presidency had divine interference except for the heavy involvement of human devils enmeshed in evil, who thought otherwise; eventually, attempted to ravage and forge all manners of distractions and the mixed up experienced in the process in governance under Buhari, we would have had a fairly well-developed Nigeria beyond what we have now if the President was encouraged to have his way.
And it will take another highly exposed, endowed, and ordained concerned Nigerian one with the fear of the Lord to rule this country with the reflection of equity and justice, after General Buhari’s tenure is over, to have things normalized, otherwise, we are in for the worse.
The outgoing President of Nigeria in all respects has the quality to attract the Lord’s favor, and he truly did.
He is a selfless human being, propitious, less materialistic, less judgemental, purposeful, flexible, abhors corruption, not ostentatious, nor a braggart; doesn’t pay vengeance and is incorruptible, tolerant, and incredibly amenable for an African President of one, very rear v for this country.
Owing to that as a follow-up, I gave my best joining a few others who saw what I saw in this man, to see to the victory and successes of his government as one who is sincere to his convictions, selfless, contented and so distinguished. Which was why the Lord of all creation chose him to bring about the needed change in Nigeria at the time he was brought in.
Only for a hangup of evil men who did their best in an attempt to scuttle it with less success.
I defended this president; known as Buharist, with so many writeups I made in his defense where I also highlighted some of his qualities with nothing to show for it to date even at the party level, except for a series of conspiracies against my person and a few others like me, by these same men of evil proclivities in league with those who had constituted fetters inhibiting this president from carrying out reforms and doing the Lord’s bidding for the people of Nigeria.
The same people are the ones now pretending to be seeking the Lord’s face and people’s mandate for victory where they’d sort and bring one they believe would tow their line when considering his age and the fact that his, is an ambition merely to satisfy curiosity over a dream just to fulfill a lifetime desire and nothing else. But that is far from what Nigeria requires as things stand now. We need someone to bring light into the lantern held by the current president they had tried to dim.
For such a person to succeed he must be selfless and incorruptible with a track record of firmness with the ability to fix things from the word go, giving his insights into the problems and dealing with them directly, not by proxy.
All through history, the Lord almighty makes or goes for one who is selfless, contented, and upright, and those considered as underdogs.
By the Lord, I mean the force that embodies the truth that triumphs over falsehoods. For it makes a way, where the seems to be no way. Hardly does the Lord use the covetous, pompous, braggart, and corrupt to do its will in response to the cry of the people.
Before the Lord uses a man or any human, it, first of all, hardened the heart of the individual to behave in a certain patent that is not common amongst men or their peers to prove itself.
That’s what the Lord did with King Pharaoh in the scriptures who resisted Moses amid the outcries of the people against the many calamities befalling them, only for the Lord to prove the myths and its might through Moses its anointed. It wasn’t the nature of Pharaoh to be that hardened but the Lord it was that hardened his mind to make him independent of the people of his tribe in Egypt at the time.
So is it the lifestyle of Mr. Peter Gregory Obi, the former governor of Anambra State, now a presidential candidate on the platform of the Labour party, who is quite different from a typical Igbo person, both in his thought and disposition who is seen to be less covetous, not a braggart, addicted to vices nor corrupt?
Amongst the former governors in Nigeria of Igbo extraction, he is the only person who has not been indicted by any of the agencies established in the country, to fight corruption nor has he been accused by anyone of any wrongdoing since he left office as Governor.
He is not loud-mouthed or flaunts wealth even when he is known to have so much, he has never been known to steal money anywhere haven’t worked as chief executive of banks and multinational companies within and outside of Africa. Is a man who lives a modest life, spending only monies legitimately earned.
Mr. Obi will not steal government money and won’t allow those working with him to steal. Nigeria therefore would have the full benefit of its earnings without being pilfered away by those entrusted with it for development purposes. And this is who General Mohammadu Buhari is among his peers as former Presidents.
And the Lord in our painting intervenes in most cases, only when the situation has gone to its peak and against those who claim that they can not be moved, in the case of a bad government or leadership.
This was so, in the year of the Lord, 2015, when the then Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) boasted that nobody or group of people or party will be able to remove it from power. They stated openly that they were going to rule for the next 60 years unstoppable.
And it could have been so judging by their physical and numerical strength, nobody would’ve had the cloud organized enough to upset the then Goodluck Jonathan’s PDP machine.
But Buhari did it, by the power of the Lord followed by the mass followers he had, just like it is today with Obi in the eye of the storm.
In the days, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) wondered how the likes of Buhari even with his massive following of those who believed in him then could register serious upsets, a thing the incumbent couldn’t see how.
They equally described the alliance between Buhari and Tinubu of the ACN then as a union of wrong bedfellows doubting how they’ll be able to gather the spread to defeat the ruling party with all the money and federal might at their disposal.
And to which they recruited all manners of spokespersons, as we find today, ranging from the sane to the insane carrying out the job of abusing their opponents.
Everything they did was such that would not have given anyone who considers human strength as the measure of what it entails to attract success to doubt their retention of power given the threats posed by Buhari and his supporters who were considered underdogs.
But a lot of betrayals began to crawl in through the ranks as minor disagreements and so on. While this was on, the crowd behind the candidate was undeterred and was doing their thing in faith and so was President Mohammadu Buhari whose time had come through; then, though as an underdog but was one ordained by the Lord to be President.
In a similar vein, I believe whatever change that might occur, would encompass and have a heavy toll on the doubting Thomases and the evil-minded amongst us and not those who are perpendicular in their dealings that have the display of good consciences and knowledge of what the Lord can do with his anointed.
I have always known that these incidents of change that would take a sudden posture with people being taken unawares would take place only by the prompting of the forces of nature not the making of man, however, their permutations backed by the quantum of Naira or Dollars in the display.
Nigeria is due for a change. Not the type some persons who have no love for, nor crave for a new, egalitarian and prosperous Nigeria other than “self” are engaged in trying to persuade this innocent man, President Buhari, to forcefully endorse.
Let’s wait and see, there is still much time before the elections to expect some more dramas.
No one expected the sudden rise of Mr. Peter Obi, in the political atmosphere as we find it today, whether or not he will become the next President, lies in the fingers of the invincible lord, and the Nigerian people, is another thing altogether, as they could be an unexpected change that may take many unawares as was witnessed by the emergence of the current President Mohamadu Buhari in the year of the Lord, 2015.
And that came through the fusing together of parties that were miles apart in ideology and interest which had as its only trump card, the undefined massive support the General had, akin to what we see trailing Mr. Peter Obi and his running mate, Senator Datti today, apart from that, nothing else that APC had beside the candidacy of Buhari, which was neither here nor there, to suggest that they were going to defeat an incumbent PDP. It all has to do with “ordination”.
Quite, in the same manner, viewers had disparaged the moves in support of Buhari then, just like it is been done today with the Obedient team going about affairs for their candidate in faith, believed to be a herculean task for such a sudden fusing among wrong bedfellows whose only bet to attain success was a few structures that were coordinated mostly in the Southwest under Tinubu then who were hoping to succeed.
They couldn’t imagine how possible it is to come into a battle with an incumbent Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the APC candidate, with all the heavyweights in the country in its fold headed then by former president Goodluck Ebele Jonathan with an entrenched structure everywhere and expect to win the Presidency.
But Nigerians prove all that wrong with their votes, by ignoring the ruling party, (PDP) then, who came in their numbers to vote because of one ordained fellow in the ballot papers who is by name of “Mohammadu Buhari”.
That scenario many are saying may repeat itself given what is happening that carries the same coincidence in the sudden emergence of Peter Obi and the unprecedented crowd of young people including professionals behind him, with a rationale to suggest it might be the same finger of the former propelling the latter into action, since agitations are similar, who knows? We leave that to time.
The unfortunate thing is that the ruling party does not seem to bother one bit about the cries of the downtrodden in its fold.
This is also in display in the way and manner they are going about the agitation against the choice of Muslim-Muslim tickets, all because of a kind of mindset which is prevalent in its agenda.
Whereas it comes as an opportunity cost to many in which only those who are prone to lie-telling and grandstanding with exaggerated self-worth, are taken seriously in this conglomeration of re-circled humans.
This is so because the country and the majority of its people have been crumbled and suffocated unable to breathe by a few who happens to be in a position of authority and power from god-knows-when, from where they stay to appropriate huge amount of the people’s commonwealth in the most primitive manners ever experienced in modern history in developing countries. And these encompass the inhuman disbursement of money from the country’s treasury all to themselves as emoluments without questing.
Those alliances have remained latent, cohesive, and rotatory hence their insistence on having the Jagaban himself, who would be in the tradition of recycling those of them who are always in power whether or not they are still fit to do the job for which they’re assigned, matters not, the role they play now would always guarantee them a place in the new government.
This is why they are bent on fulfilling that trend by ensuring that he takes his turn to be President whether ordained by the almighty or not and whether the people agree to it or not.
That explains why you see all those clamoring to be included amongst the list of those in the campaign council.
What all that means is that these lots believe by being in the campaign council, they now would be guaranteed an automatic place in the government of the incoming president in a tiny country exclusively theirs where only those whose names are on the list would make up its citizens. If the number of persons is 20000 or whatever it is, the list is complete, that is what would constitute the new country for their President.
These are not the spirit of a successor but that of an outright new President with new pledges and an agenda devoid of what was obtained in the past.
He is sure not going to be a Nigerian President. These people choose only one they know would give them access to what they want and not who can bring change to the entire country for the good of the people in it but for their benefit alone.
We may not be surprised to hear of the change of name from the All Progressives Congress, (APC) to something else, the way they’re going about their affairs.
Those who suffer the most in the party currently are those of us who have been in the support of the current president blindly and doing so to date with no guidance or reward to show for it as opposed to those of the Asiwaju’s men scattered all over the place. Including recruits on board made up of very unprincipled persons who are attracted for the sake of the stomach and envisaged future appointments. And such hatred had persisted.
Fortunately for them, as it now appears Tinubu who was said to have ambushed the current president Mohammadu Buhari, to have his way to the party’s primary contest is now the Presidential candidate of the party through the forces of cohesion, and inducement as alleged which was what infuriated those who contested the presidential primaries along with him many claimed were better, the likes of the vice President Professor Yemi Osinbajo and the former transport minister, chief Rotimi Ameachi even though the former is mute about the whole issue but the resentment of both, speaks volumes or does attest to that seeming injustice, including Mr. President, not until recently.
Nonetheless, I do not know how fair that would subsist, to have those who are unpleasantly yoked, lumped together for campaigns in expectation of a resounding victory over the opponents who are now so diverse and are confrontational towards the facts be-deviling the country needing prompt solutions that they believe could only come from a person whom they consider fit enough in agility and with character traits and record of unblemished services in his last assignment devoid of corruption or being an accomplice to it; that may have matched that of the current president in their view, who can truly, and on the spot, on assumption in office, deliver the country profoundly out of the current quagmire by his idea and not through a proxy, as it were, highly lacking in the candidacy of Jagaban.
