As Importunate Actions Of The G5 Governors Determine The Faith Of Peter Obi And Atiku Abubakar
“If It Will Not Be Good Enough For You, Don’t Do It To Me Or Another Man Without Proper Justification”.
“Today President Buhari is no more in contention, and his name is not going to be on the ballot. Alhaji Atiku Abubaker would probably have gotten it almost on the platter of gold, which was why he plunged into the race irrespective of other considerations and feelings of other volunteers whose time it was to fill the gap ushered by Providence. But suddenly there came Mr. Peter Gregory Obi from the blues as an underdog, embraced by the youths across the divide in their numbers, including professionals, exuding internal happiness by his emergence for having been given an alternative platform from which to choose a President befitting their country in his reflexes and contour.”
“Atiku’s blunder had elicited dancing forward and backward as if a retention, with aggrieved members of his party, named the G5 Governors charting their course, at a time when it is believed he would have had a big lead and victory over his opponent possibly, but for the unfortunate plunge.”
“For the Turaki Adamawa, it was perfectly alright because it reflected his anger at the time, without justification, other than self-exhilaration, but it rubbed someone off his nature’s procured chances to gain victory, featuring his assistance.”
– Obi Ojage
Partisan politics in my view, simply means people of like minds coming to congregate to choose, not to impose, and campaign for the best amongst them from the few who may have indicated to aspire. The preferred candidate is chosen agreeably to the generality of members, bearing in mind the views of the public who are expected to be attracted to their choice of candidates against other choices for having the required qualities not found in the antecedence or pedigrees of the opponents.
The scriptures, especially the Holy Bible and other books with similar good intentions such as the Holy Koran and the Bhagavadgita are standards that are highly prescribed for humankind to abide by at all times, of which failure leaves us with very unpleasant experiences when our days are sweetest over the things we seek the most and sure to prevail.
We recalled where it was said that the former vice president, Alhaji Atiku Abubaker, staged a walkout from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) convention, together with some important members loyal to him, during the era of former President Goodluck Jonathan, which caused the upsets that constituted setbacks to his victory at the time.
For the Turaki Adamawa, it was perfectly alright because it reflected his anger at the time, without justification, other than self-exhilaration, but it rubbed someone off his nature’s procured chances to gain victory featuring his assistance.
And so was Dr. Bokula Saraki whose actions were instigated by the former vice president as alleged when he and others formed themselves into a group and left the All Progressives Congress (APC) to frustrate President Mohammadu Buhari, but God was on the side of the current president, which guaranteed him a win during that experience.
Today President Buhari is no more in contention, and his name is not on the ballot. Alhaji Atiku Abubaker would probably have gotten it almost on the platter of gold, which was why he made plunged into the race in respective of other considerations and feelings of other volunteers whose time it was to fill the gap ushered by Providence.
But suddenly there came Mr. Peter Gregory Obi from the blues as an underdog, embraced by the youths across the political divide in their numbers, including professionals, exuding internal happiness by his emergence for having been given an alternative from which to choose a President befitting their country in his reflexes and contour.
Atiku’s blunder had elicited dancing forward and backward as if a retention with the aggrieved members of his party named the G5 Governors charting their course, at a time when it is believed he would have had a big lead and victory over his opponent possibly but for the unfortunate fairly irredeemable plunge, what an irony.
This is behooved as a repeat of what he was alleged to have contrived against those whose chances he scuttled through this type of action unfolds as a way to greatly jeopardize his opportunities as well.
It’s like a payback time, isn’t it? A payback for what he was alleged to have done to others, right? These perhaps should serve as a lesson to those who are fond of outmaneuvering their fellows in clear-cut deals and call it smartness or in their way of expressing their anger without the gab for restitution.
The Holy books forbade rigmarole. Kindly recant those ugly actions of yours if you still yearn to be on the side of the Lord your God. Do not say I didn’t confide in you.
Now you know what constitutes fetters’ profound accomplishments whose time was due but for these avoidable blunders. Foolishness, greediness, subjugation, and undue profiteering are not part of politics. That is carnality. Do that in your business venture, not politics.
Real politics is the Almighty God’s way of instituting a government on earth inspired by the people’s desire in whom they had, with the “forces of truth” that know whose feet fit particular shoes.
It should throw forward that which has been empowered over time, in all aspects of attraction in their mannerisms and character, reflecting traces of one who abhors evil and who’s primary concern is for humanity, not self; to govern them by its grace and blessings at a time it so chooses. And not the imposition of one by force on the bases of whose turn it is, but rather who the shoes fit perfectly at this time and meant to assuage the tide.
Therefore, those who engage in the game of politics must be circumspect not to earn the wrath of the Almighty in the process, otherwise, they become a recurrent decimal. There is always another time. God’s time is the best. It comes when it is suitable, and such adds no sorrow when it comes.
