Late Chief Francis Anayochukwu Ezenma, Ozo Ononenyi

The traditional ruler and philanthropist battled to control his emotions as tears intermittently punctuated his ever smiling face during the wake, particularly after he sang a special song in honour of his brother on Friday night.

He had in September 2019 buried his mother.

Some of the prominent Enugu indigenes at expansive family home of the Igwe of Eziani Kingdom, were the Secretary General of Conference Of Nigeria Political Parties (CNPP), Chief Willy Ezugwu; Governorship Candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Hon. Chijioke Edeoga; the Enugu North Senatorial District candidate of LP, Barr. Okey Ezea; among others.

The high point of the burial ceremony was the arrival of the Executive Governor of Enugu State and the Enugu North Senatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.

Governor Ugwuanyi was received by the Igwe of Eziani, His Royal Highness Ezenma on behalf of the family.

Guests at the funeral ceremony were sumptuously treated to a variety of food delicacies and wines as different musical bands and cultural musicians entertained the guests.
