Worsening An Already Bad Situation By Dominic Kidzu As An Attack-Dog

“Unverified Facts And The Effort To Protect A Lie, Destroys GOOD Journalism.”
– (PART 1).

“Dominic Kidzu should hear this in response to the lies he said Sandy met me in my mother’s house in Big Qua chained to the floor, socially and politically, I don’t know what that means: However before we won the party’s primaries where Duke became the PDP candidate, I was leaving in a three-bedroom flat at Punch Street with a landline phone line. Then there wasn’t GSM, very few people had phones in their houses, while Sandy was living in a two-room small boys’ quarters with a few of his relatives, which is still there at Eta Agbor. My landlord, the late Etubom Bassey Ekpo, (Kongkrinkong), saw Donald for the first time when he came to look for me at Punch.”

“And it was there in my house at no. 6, Punch Street, that a meeting was held at Donald’s instance with Senator Geshiom Bassey, Liyel Imoke, including late Chief Dominic Bassey, (Mavenco), where I was to help settle the dispute between them which arose while they were in DPN. Sandy couldn’t have been at that level of relationship, he was still a graduate assistant in the Department of History of the University of Calabar.”

“There is never a need for anyone coming with a Ph.D. and saying you’re this or that in politics, it’s rubbish. The writers of the Nigerian Constitution in their wisdom have made very clear the requirements or qualifications one needs to become President from counselor to chairman of Local Government. And it is stated clearly that to be in any of those offices you barely need to present a primary school living certificate to show you went to school and can read and write, having attended secondary school to school certificate level. So what is all the noise about?”

“If one says he or she is a scholar, is not to keep shouting down on people, prove it, either by your constant writing to engage society in the areas of your specialties or whatever it is you wish to display your intellectual content like myself, and manyothers do as columnists, to let everyone who can read, enjoy the benefits of your academic knowledge or you remain in the University and defend your calling as a schooler nobody would come there to “Jones” you. You can’t come into politics and flaunting professor this or Professor that; it’s your character and acts of benevolence, which people can attest to overwhelmingly, that talks or counts.”

Obi Ojage

In my advice to Cross River people concerning the People’s Democratic Party, (PDP) Gubernatorial candidate, Senator Sandy Ojang Onor, I spoke directly about his arrogance, sensuality, and greed. And that, it is not the quality of character we would love to have as Governor of our state this time around and I mentioned why? I did not refute the facts or claim that Sandy wasn’t a Senator or a professor of history.

I merely said that is not what qualifies one to be Governor of a state. I even mentioned the position he has held before now, except that I didn’t remember to mention that he has also been made a Knight of the Catholic Church.

I thought if any reply it should’ve been to refute what I said and show how it was not what I accused him of, not for him to tell his media man lies about me to give the impression that I was worth nothing and that I reacted because he failed to give me a bus meant for the party and a demand made for him to increase a fifty thousand he claims he often gives to something additional. Which were tissues of blackmail.

And one Gabe Odu Oji a daft and primitive-looking man, very cruel, claimed I am nothing but an academic and intellectual charlatan because I didn’t go to the University of Calabar (UNICAL) with him and bribed my way through school to get all manners of bogus certificates. And that my writing has no punctuation marks and is all borrowed terminologies. Ah, I was caught in laughter for someone who has never attempted to ever write a mere congratulatory message talk more than an article.

I will have no choice but to take the issues one by one. And give a reply concerning all those names kidzu mentioned in his half-truth of what he got from his principal and where he added his own. I am too big and sophisticated for a person of Dominic Kidzu, no matter my situation, to ever say a word against me in the manner he did. I think he has spoiled the show for his principal and I will prove that. But he should be remembered that he is trading on a bad terrene as I am one of the best you can find when it comes to blackmailing journalism. I will give them the run for their money and whoever is involved, turned to shreds, if I am dared.

Sometime in August last year Senator Sandy Ojang Onor who is my friend of whom I have been so proud for his exploits, came to my house with his entourage to inform me that he will be contesting for the governorship of the state and would want me to come over to his party the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to help work for his election. He knows I am good in the area of my competence.

That he will declare sometime in December last year, 2021, and would want me to handle his entire media and publicity where he knows I am good at. That he was going to bring me a car in November of that year, and all that I will be needing in carrying out whatever it is I would wish to do for the project to succeed.

I asked a few questions about his preparedness and he told me everything was fine and that he was sure going to declare. And that his chances of winning the primaries of his party are high. It was there I told him that I have suffered too much in my party in the defence of the President and that I will not leave the party until I get compensated and I am very sure to be given appointed sometime soon by the President. So I cannot leave. He laughed.

But I added that whatever he will want me to do for him as a friend and brother I will oblige. He said no problems. But he will still bring me the car to fulfill what he said earlier he will do for me as a Senator.

He praised my writing skills and compared me with the likes of Prof. Wole Soyinka and pleaded with me to try to accommodate people, saying he is happy that I am engaging society with my writings. That he is an intellectual but he still hangs around with me ever since he knew me, that I am deep in my expressions in whatsoever it is I take to comment on. He is happy that I didn’t just stay idle, like that, and he is indeed proud of me. And we spoke generally and he drop some money for me and left.

He called again to say he was coming to see me in the house and to assist me in getting the generator he once promised me.

And he was in my house again sometime early this year and we sat to chat where he met with two of my staff and promised he was going to assist me with the sum of fifty thousand naira being the equivalent of their monthly salary to enable me to pay them promptly. And still assured me of the car. I wonder where Kidzu got the fact that I was begging him to increase the stipend he was giving me and he refused which made me react against him.

For the vehicle he mentioned, I sent him a text to ask him if it will not be easy if he gives me one of the many Hilux sent from Wike since he has the powers to do so in fulfillment of his promise, knowing my 4matic Mercedes was destroyed in Unical Hotel where I lodged for close to two years, during the EndS ARS debacle. He didn’t reply to the text messages. Only to hear for the first time the rubbish coming from Kidzu.

Just because I am not having a government appointment from the Governor like them (which I didn’t seek), where they stay to steal and talk big, everybody claims they are the ones giving me money so much that whenever I refuse to kowtow to their evilness, they go to the streets with cheap blackmail that it was because they couldn’t give me as much money as I had required. But judging between me and them who deserve more money for all that I do in educating society against the works of evil men amongst us who are everywhere to deceive the vulnerable.

If Sandy were to give me money, as a friend of many years and of my closeness and importance as he often says, for a senator, is it fifty thousand, and he takes that to the streets, is that my worth? He who gets billions of naira and contracts from Governor Wike and many many more is he, God?

What practical things has he done for Wike except that they met during their participation as members of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria, (ALGON) as Local Government chairman from where he became friends with Wike, that’s all? I have been more to Sandy, done more for him than he has been or done to Wike, that’s the greed I was talking about.

He believes he alone deserves to be given a huge amount of money for speaking grammar, part of which he copied from me, coupled with the money they’ve made to increase their confidence and exhibit oratory, and now think they’re better than their master or speak better English than me. I can’t understand.

Simply because these have made humongous money, whether through the help of juju or not, Obi should not defer or hold an opinion again, haha!

He had complained once in a vexatious manner when I paid Senator John Owan Eno in an article I wrote that went viral; to run as Prince Bassey Otu’s running mate in my party, the All Progressives Congress, (APC) as it was revealed to me through inspiration, even though the party’s gurus have now boggled it, he complained bitterly that I say I am helping him yet I am putting up forces to defeat him. That was when he started having reservations, which was understandable and a natural reaction to expect. Comrade Obi Effiong Ojage

And I kept on doing the best I could in my platform for him knowing my limits, especially because it has entered a competitive stage and I have, if I must, guarantee that the party controls the state, and by the way, my party parades a candidate who is far better in the areas I complained in earnest about him, this is no partisanship. And I defend what I say. Perhaps I would’ve advised him differently if I were in his party, the PDP, but I am not.

I rarely talk about myself in a manner that showcases my human qualification, because of the worthlessness of the attestation issued and the mundane and faint ideas pandered that are nothing to be compared to who I have evolved through various human persecutions I had endured, for Christ-sake, to become in the true content of who I am in the spirit realms beyond what the white/green man ever thought me, of where I have been and who I am, other than what I do in the limited portion I am allowed to do the little I have done so far for friendliness sake.

This is so, given the space allowed me by human devils with whom I am forced to live everyday of my life with in disguise, as one groomed for the Church, where I would’ve had my noteworthiness into politics, where questionable characters flaunt the same degree certificates from dubious means, manipulate themselves into higher political offices unhindered where they stay to steal an enormous amount of money they would not have gotten in normal circumstances. And you stay, besides all the claims, and look in bewilderment.

However, I may have to do that now to douse some curiosity a few people who are inundated by ambushes can now give catharsis more to what I do from listening to side talks by indolent minds engaged in braggadocio who now constitute those of my adversaries or conspirators only in politics who are engaged towards stifling my efforts climbing up in attainment of political heights, but they lie because they’re not the Lord, my glorious moment to reign is yet to come. Nigeria must have to change to accommodate people with our mindset and endowment, I pray.

Only an infinitesimal few of those talking about me with a loud mouth today knew that I was once a news reporter with the ministry of information, field publicity unit, Calabar, in my prime, before I resigned and went overseas for further studies and further as a public commentator. And being an editor of newspapers with a national outlook, namely new revelation newspapers and champion newspapers respectively all here in Nigeria as well as being a columnist to foreign magazines including but not limited to being a contributing writer for Christian Science Monitor magazine, Boston, United States of America many years ago.

The White Man takes my column to read my views on theosophy each time I write, young as I was then, followed by the banning of my little book in circulation titled “GOD AS AN ANTHROPOMORPHIC EXISTENTIALISM” before it was formerly launched where my life was being threatened by some few white and black empty church fanatics.

There again was the hang-up by men of the occult who had attempted to panel beat me to seize where I had bounced like a balloon from their grip, to living and starting life all over again, they’re now tremulous. They go and discourage those they think can help me politically. That’s not a problem, I have a company with an office, and I can do contract jobs and make money as well. A government would come that would need my services. I have been long in politics I know the rules and the way to go, but this time around the people I see, their desperation is malignant and primitive. But I bet you, their race is a mirage.

I am a consultant in my field, so what is all the noise about? Even if I want to write for commercial purposes the Internet has made provisions for writers like us to use it to make money. The eight numbers of online newspapers that feature my articles make money from them. I do not write for money like Kidzu tries to run his mouth to show his principal that he is doing a good job. I am in a political party as a professional and my contributions to the party are in the areas of professional competence. That’s where I can talk big, not through gossip and backbiting.

I don’t think anyone knows that aspect of me. That was what Sandy Onor saw in me as a young man when he first heard me speak, it was like heaven he didn’t stop coming to have a chat with me each time he is through with school, up til now, he keep telling people that I was his idol, and truly I was.

Just like people didn’t know I write, not until I started writing profusely, and now I am everywhere. Another form of jealousy arose from agents of darkness who have now taken over our politics and the land, flaunting stolen money meant to go around all to themselves, because of the conspiracy in leadership now dominated by society and juju men.

I served once as a director and member of the Board of Directors of the Federal Radio Cooperation of Nigeria (FRCN) Abuja during the regime of President Olusegun Obasanjo, which Kidzu rightly mentioned in denigrating manner meant as blackmail.

I wasn’t in Federal Radio Corporation as an appointee from Duke, though he recommended me, statutorily for a Federal Board appointment from the Cross River, subject to the discretion of the President and based on your areas of study some of the times, like in my case, I was sent to the Board of FRCN because of my claim of having worked as a journalist. Something Duke was exceedingly glad that I was on a first-class Board. When he saw my name appeared in three national newspapers as director of the Board of FRCN, Abuja.

And anyway, it was my fair share of compensation (though later trampled by human devils) temporarily for our struggle in the entrenchment of Democracy from military administration and Donald Duke was leading us as a family as it was been called then, in the People’s Democratic Party, (PDP), through our combined efforts, He became the first elected Governor of the state of Cross River.

I wasn’t alone, Gershom became chairman of the state water board while Imoke became special assistant to the President on Utilities. And a handful of others whom the Governor directly appointed commissioners in the state. When I turn around I see every one of them with big mansions, I thank the Lord for them.

I hold three academic degrees including a Doctor of Divinity, DD. I am thought of as a radical, but I am humble. I chose from time to be called a Comrade, while all my documents and visa bearing Dr. Obi George Offiong Ojage, not comrade of the labor union affiliates but identification of my inclination as a leftist. Only a fool will read my writings in whatever subject and think I am less educated.

You should ask those who try to criticize me to show you what they’ve been writing as schoolers and the so-called professors and compare it with what I write each blessed week on almost every topic, under the circumstances under which I stay to write. It is not a matter of making noise, show us your works as an intellectual.

I have since denounced all human identification and titles silently, but the tag on me given by the Holy Spirit as one of its “Christ Devotees” is what I go along with, and forever! Right from 1986-7, I was still being called Dr. Obi, in my passport, driver’s license, my visas in the Italian and American Embases all bearing Dr. Obi George O. Ojage.

I dropped the DD titles when the devil almost killed me where I was living and having my office at the Catholic social center, Kaduna, and brought to Calabar almost dead and I was carried to one herbalist called Bassey Bassey at Ediba in Abi local government for treatment, but he asked my mother and those who took me to his shrine to take me back that he cannot do anything to help my situation which he said was helpless. That was far beyond him.

I guess that was the period Sandy Onor, through his attackdog-Kidzu said he found me in my mother’s family compound at Old Ikang, yes, he did, where he used to come for tutorials as a snooping young man who admired listening to deep knowledge which was what I often provide when one meets with me, even at that state.

I said I was not going to say anymore thing in response to whatever anyone may say in respect of my candid advice to Cross river people on the candidacy of my friend and one of my great admirers of yore, now, Senator Sandy Ojang Onor, “the big man”.

But because this is coming from one Dominic Kidzu, said to be his spokesperson, I thought he should’ve been sent to gather enough facts as a news reporter or journalist as I know him, no matter the situation or temptation before going to perpetrating untruth against one like me whose work in trade from youth is to debunk the lies told by evil men against the children of light. I do so dexterously which is where I have my fulfillment.

His article was titled, “THE LIFE AND HACK JOURNALISM OF COMRADE OBI OJAGE.”

In the second part of the series, of my reply to Mr. Dominic Kidzu’s aimless attack, I will talk about how I first met Kidzu, at the venue many years ago, he was then working for a newspaper in the north according to him, where he was amongst those shortlisted for an interview by the state military Government then over the search for editors of Daily and Sunday Nigerian Chronicle Newspapers.

And the requirements which were published in Nigeria Dailies are as follows: a BA and MA degrees in English or journalism with two to three years of working experience one of which must be in a reputable newspaper.

And the interview was to last for four days, with written exams on the first day, followed by an editorial conference, and lastly, the interview proper where one has to produce his credentials and other relevant things to prove your worthiness, under the watch of a consortium made up of Dr. Olatunji Dare, Editorial Board chairman of Guardian newspaper, editor of Nigerian Tribune newspaper, and two others renowned journalist and chief executive of newspapers from Lagos, that made up the panel.

Five of us were shortlisted, namely, Obi O. Ojage, which is me, the late Oqua-Itu, Joshua Okpo, Idang Alibi, and Dominic Kidzu.
