Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has approved the payment of N5 million compensation ordered by the court to an Uber driver, Clement Adedotun, who was assaulted by policemen during the EndSARS protest memorial in the state without delay even after the Lagos State Government appealled the verdict of the court ordering compensation for the driver.

The governor intervened in the face-off between the Ministry of Justice and the victim by approving that the N5 million as ordered by the court as compensation be paid to him.
