The Delta State Independent Electoral Commission (DSIEC), Wednesday, debunked the alleged notice of election timetable and schedule of activities for the 2024 Local Government Council elections in the state.

Chairman of the Commission, Dr. Jerry Agbaike in a statement made available to journalists said the purported document was a fake public notice and did not emanate from the Commission.

He said that the Commission was yet to fix a date for the election and would communicate to the general public once a date is fixed.
