One-Year-In-Office: Tinubu’s Local Government-friendly Disposition Excites ALGON, Hopes for More in Congratulatory Message

The Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his first anniversary in office, hails his administration for evidently being local government system-friendly in the last one year.

In a congratulatory message signed by the ALGON National President, Hon. Aminu Mu’azu Maifata, on behalf of the National Executive Council (NEC), Board of Trustees (BOT), Management, and Staff of the Association, he conveyed ALGON’s “esteemed congratulations on your one-year ascension to office as the President and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, Federal Republic of Nigeria.”

The ALGON National President maintained that “Nothing can best be said that you have never hidden your Local-Government friendly disposition which dates back to your tenure as the Governor Lagos State.

“ALGON has seen its attendant gains. We are hopeful that some constitutional challenges affecting Local Government Administration in Nigeria will be resolved under your leadership in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda.

“ALGON will remain hopeful and pledge to give its maximum support.
